I was born in Gorseinon, near Swansea, mam to Rhys and Catrin and married to Jonathan. Setting up RR81 isn’t something I can say I’m proud of as it really is a constant and bittersweet reminder of our loss.

However, keeping Rhys’ legacy alive and in doing so helping others, is something positive that has come from the worst imaginable scenario. Being a teacher for 28 years, in Lancaster then Cardiff I never imagined doing anything else. However, following Rhys’ accident everything changed.

Wanting to spend my days with my two dogs, Gruff and Ben I decided to set up a dog walking business, as a result my days are now spent down the beach or in the forestry around the Bridgend area. Whenever possible I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dogs. I love being outdoors, by the beach, travelling and visiting the theatre.
