RR81 Ambassadors
ZAK – Zak is an education professional with four years’ experience as a middle leader in both primary and secondary, and is now working on the development of education for the NHS and Public Health Wales. He has been involved with the charity since its launch and is passionate about promoting educational achievement and ensuring opportunities for all learners to succeed.
TARKA – Tarka loves putting her practical and creative skills to use as an ambassador. Her day job involves evaluation and development work for a garden charity. Volunteering is really important to her, and she also loves being part of Côr Seren, the 2Wish choir who are delighted to support of RR81 events.
MEET THE YOUNG AMBASSADORS
DELILAH – One of our first Ambassadors is Delilah aged 10, a student at Dolau Primary School. Delilah enjoys playing netball, swimming and spending time with her 2 cats, Nala & Simba. She is really excited to be involved and to help make a difference.
LILI – Aged 9 and also in Dolau primary School, Lili is a Welsh speaker and is always on the go. Lili enjoys all sports, although her favourite is football. Lili has been a member of Brynna Girls Football Club for more than two years, she enjoys the games but it’s having fun with her friends whilst keeping fit and healthy that she likes the most. Lili is also a member of Dolau’s Dance Club and plays Netball for the school too. Lili is proud to be a Young Ambassador for RR81 and has supported all events since joining with infectious enthusiasm, she is looking forward to helping the charity grow so more young people can benefit from the amazing opportunities that the charity provides.
SAM – Sam is one of our brilliant Young Ambassadors, he is a thoughtful, creative, caring pupil from a local primary school who loves diving into computer games, testing his skills in chess, and scoring goals on the football pitch.
When he’s not gaming or practicing his skills, Sam is always ready to help others – he’s got a real team spirit we admire and full of ideas to support our charity. His profile picture illustrates this as it shows him making the clay beads key chains to sell.
BELLA – Bella is 12 years old and goes to Y Pant secondary school. She first joined RR81 as an ambassador when Jo visited her primary school. After taking part in a fundraising event she wanted to help the charity further.
She enjoys playing cricket and ballet and has a creative streak. She loves helping other people whenever she can, and was keen to take on the role of an ambassador.
GRIFF– Griff is 13 years old and goes to Ysgol Llanhari. He became a young ambassador after Jo visited his school to ask for help. He enjoys playing with his two cats Rudy and Milo.
LILY – Lily IS 16 and is currently studying in college. Although her favourite colour is pink she recently starred as a RR81 Elf assistant to Santa in the Christmas Fete at Y Pant School. Lily loves dogs and her passion for helping others makes her a wonderful Young Ambassador for RR81 xxx
BELLA – Isabella is 13 and a pupil at Tonyrefail Community School, she loves being with her friends and her dog and hamster. She is an enthusiastic and imaginative Young Ambassador for the charity.
ARTHUR – Arthur is 7 and is a pupil at Cwmlai Primary School, he loves playing with his friends, Rugby and singing with his school choir.
ALFIE– A student in Tonyrefail Community School, 12 year old Alfie loves playing Rugby for Tonyrefail RFC and supporting the Ospreys; he also loves spending time out with his friends.
